SUSS LP50 / Slot-die Coating Module

The novel slot-die coating module from JB Instruments turns the LP50 printer into a high precision sheet to sheet slot-die coater with unprecedented flexibility. This way inkjet and slot-die coating processes can be carried out using the same machine minimizing investment and footprint in the lab. The camera system and the flexible motion capabilities of the LP50 allow precise adjustments, control and things you cannot do with any other slot-die coaters for example printing multiple coats next to each other with different parameters in one run.

Slot-die Heads

Discover our advanced slot-die coating components. Our slot-die heads come with an unique shim set, which ensures a constant coating gap along the coating width. It minimizes dead volume and due to the very flexible design a single slot -die can be used with different shim sets to account for different fluid viscosities or different coating widths.

The slot-die can be mounted on our LP50 slot-die integration kit or also on most other platforms, please indicate in your inquiry whether you want to use it with the LP50 or not.
